Peach & Black Podcast double whammy for January 2010! Two shows, 1 day!

For all our loyal listeners we bring to you a second episode for your entertainment, this time we discuss something altogether different: How did MC, Toejam, Captain and Playa all become Prince fans? We talk about our past, first time hearing Prince, what led to our appreciation of the music and much more, it gets a bit rowdy - that's for sure!

Like always - enjoy.

MJF Review

July 30th, 2009

Listen and enjoy. Prince gave one of his best ever concert performances (in my humble opinion), and we talk about Prince & The Band tearing it up at the MJF 2009. What a setlist, what arrangements, what an atmosphere, what amazing 2 shows in one night!

Michael Jackson (and Prince) Show

July 3rd, 2009

Hello Everyone,

Firstly, RIP to Michael Jackson. We have certainly lost one of the greats.

Secondly, we have recorded a somewhat impromtu show after MJ's passing, discussing his career and including specific commentary related to Prince as well. This convo goes many places, just our thoughts about the King of Pop. He has left the world under tragic circumstances, but one thing is for certain - his legacy will continue on into eternity. Enjoy.

Well it has been almost a month, some of us have been away and others busy but we are now all back and ready to give you all what you have hopefully been patiently waiting for - more Peach & Black Podcast!

Enjoy, and we will be back sometime in June or early July with a new episode doing something that we haven't really done thus far - a show not based around reviewing any albums, and instead a heated discussion about a specific aspect of Prince's music and career, coming soon!!!!!!

Very exciting times to be a Prince fan right now, especially because the music is really stacking up and things are moving fast! What's gonna happen next? A tour? A residency? A documentary? Who knows, but one thing is for sure (and I hope most of you will agree) - Prince is on fire with this new material, a milestone in the career of one of the 20th and 21st century's greatest composers and pop artists, IMHO.
